Nova Clear Domestic Water Recycling System
Treatment Process
The compact single tank system is constructed from lightweight high density polyethylene, suitable for above and in ground installation.
The primary chamber is designed as a receptor for all incoming household wastewater and provides a substantial additional buffering capacity of about 1,500 litres for times of high load or emergencies.
In this primary aerated chamber the water is aerobically treated. This allows the microbes within the treatment plant to breakdown the impurities, avoiding septic odour and sludge build up.
Once the sewage has been treated to the required standard it is transferred into the Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) chamber. The MBR chamber houses the patented membrane filtration/
disinfection unit and air diffuser. Further aerobic treatment occurs.
The SafeWater is drawn off through the membranes and pumped into the recycled water chamber. When this last chamber reaches adequate volume, the pump is activated and transfers recycled water through to the irrigation system. In areas where reuse in the house is allowed, water will be stored for reuse.
